Malcolm Gander has thirty-five years’ global experience as a Hydrogeologist and Environmental Manager overseeing protection and restoration of drinking water quality for international corporations and the United States Department of Defense as a consultant or employee, and a contractor to the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Gander has a deep understanding of the risks posed by anthropogenic factors and climate change to global drinking water supplies, and to agricultural and industrial water resources. Knowledgeable in the legal and political aspects of the management of transboundary surface water bodies and aquifers, he is currently overseeing applied research in various groundwater remediation techniques such as biological contaminant breakdown of fuels, solvents, PFAS, explosives, and nitrates.
