Piero R. Gardinali is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at Florida International University (FIU) in Miami. He also serves as the Director of the Freshwater Resources Division in the Institute of Environment at FIU. Dr. Gardinali’s areas of expertise are broadly defined as Analytical Environmental Chemistry with foci in Environmental Mass Spectrometry, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment and the study of fate and transport of legacy and emergent contaminants. His group is particularly interested in the environmental assessments of complex mixtures using Non-target Analysis (NTA). He has produced 115 peer-reviewed publications and has an H-Index of 37 with 3881 citations.
Dr. Gardinali is Co-Editor in Chief or Elsevier’s Environmental Nanotechnology Monitoring and Management (ENMM) and member of the Editorial Board of Springer’s Bulletin of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology (BECT).
