Jaap Wagenaar

Jaap Wagenaar was trained as veterinarian and is specialist in veterinary microbiology. He is professor at the vet school in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He is director of the WHO Collaborating Center for Campylobacter and Antimicrobial Resistance from a One Health Perspective, and of the OIE Reference Center for Campylobacteriosis. He is frequently acting as consultant for WHO, FAO and OIE in the field of food safety and antimicrobial resistance.
