Rebecca Metzner is a Senior Fisheries Officer with the Fishery Division (NFI) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). A social scientist, Rebecca’s work has revolved around the many core challenges of fisheries management. Nowadays, she leads the Assessment and Management Team’s work to harmonize fisheries tenure, secure access, user rights and sustainable fisheries.
