Suryakanta Acharya

Dr. Suryakanta Acharya is an Oncologist by profession with deep interest in biodiversity, environment, and sustainable living. He is the founder of PAY-W Clinic, a not-for-profit NGO/CSO working on health and climate change. The entity is accredited to IPBES 9th plenary and a member of VNGOC, UN ECOSOC. He is a member of IUCN CEESP/CEC committees and reviewed draft policies for IPBES and IUCN. He is a member of IWRA Water Quality Task Force, CEC Working Group and focused on the health impacts of CECs. He is a member of the World Medical Association with special interest in medical ethics.
